You and your family are invited to be a part of an inspirational community event that is taking place in Oswestry this July. <BR/>The community event is all about coming together to celebrate survival of cancer, pay tribute to those touched by cancer and raise money for the vital work of Cancer Research UK. <BR/>It is twenty four hours of fun, friendship and fundraising to beat cancer. <BR/>Relay For Life Oswestry, is going to be held at Oswestry Showground from 2pm July 7th 2007, and will run through until 12pm 8th July 2007. Every Relay For Life runs overnight and includes a Survivors Lap of Honour and a tribute to those lost through cancer in a moving Candle of Hope Ceremony. A poignant reminder of why we are all working together to beat cancer. <BR/>Teams of people gather at race tracks, parks or sports fields and take turns walking or running laps.
